Having Big Problems with my sol

Well where is the damn thing on the del sol? LOL can anyone take a pic of it becasue i bet it's looking me right in the face. also how much is cheep????

the filter is on the left side just on the right side of your battery. there is a nut on top of it with a pipe going through it. well they usely only cost no more then $20

$24 for the Honda replacement and it's every 60K for '93-'94 after that for '95-'97 it's 100K, different design. On the aftermarket ones I'm not sure of when to change them, it maybe 30K.
By the way take care on the banjo bolt, it will give you fits to take off, the other one is a piece of cake and be sure to install all the washers needed or it will leak, not a good thing at all.

One more thing, only use flare wrenches to take off the fitting or your guaranteed to strip the banjo bolt.

Well i really hope with your guys help we can fix the sol [img]frown.gif[/img] Thanks for the tip on the filter geo. every 60k sounds right. I have had the car 3 years and put about 120k on it. I have really been good out up keep things on the car and never thought of that filter.

another thing you could be loosing compression in a cylinder i have heard of that make sure your sparkplugs are tight also that happend to my mirage

but the fuel filter also sounds like a problem

if you still havnt found it its black canister looking thing about the same size as a pop can around and it has brass fittings bolted to the fire wall beside yoru battery

Yeah it's just really strange how the car started to drive and all that.
